This is actually such a good video, it sent chills up my spine, deaf have been mistreated for so long. I know I want to put in my bit to help, and I think I'm doing it by becoming an interpreter when I'm older.

If only hearing people knew how we feel being left out of group discussions, they might just take the time to look at someone who might not hear them. I have been partial deaf for many years and sometimes look at it as being fortunate. I can try to listen or choose not to. The people that have lost there hearing and the people that were born without hearing are always trying to make themselves a better person. As for your video it's great.......... ;-)
My name is Emma and I am not Deaf but I am learning sign language at my community college and I'm starting to really love the language. To me Signing is a form of art. The art of communication and connection. I met a deaf guy a few year older than me a few weeks ago and I had the greatest time hanging out with him and his friends! I just do not understand why the world should think that being Deaf is a wrong-doing. Well I say F#$% them. Keep doing everything you do to change the world....because it is making a difference.
If anybody lives around Kalamazoo, MI you should find me and say Hi because I love making new friends and I love signing because every time I sign...I get better. So help me get better!

this is such a beautiful song in itself, Im taking American Sign Language 2 in high school right now and I absoutley love it. Our teacher showed us this song in class today, the first time she told us to just watch the people sign. The 2nd time the class was told to read the captions before and after the song, for me I started to cry, I don't understand how people can be so cruel. Espically that judge.

I am taking classes to learn sign language and my teacher showed us this video in class. I knew I was facinated by sign language but this shows how very beautiful it really is, this video made me cry when I saw the little girl about 4 yrs old-she reminds me of my baby. My baby Gracie is not deaf but she cannot communicate yet because she is autistic but the words she DOES know are due to sign language so needless to say this video got to me I LOVE IT!!!!
Personally, Waiting on the World to Change is one of my favorite songs. There is nothing wrong with me. I am not lazy, unmotivated nor dumb. In my opinion, art can be seen from different angles. This song may seem to imply waiting for others to do things for you is the way to get things done, but I don't think the message of the song is to encourage lethargy. In a sense, I think this song is trying to encourage the younger generation to be bold and work together to make a difference.A lot of music is about emotions and feelings. In this case, John Mayer was trying to express helplessness. ""It's hard to beat the system When we're standing at a distance So we keep waiting (waiting) Waiting on the world to change"" cisco dumps John Mayer is not saying that he is trying to 'beat the system' like how someone might try to beat a video game system. He is expressing frustration in the fact that he single handedly cannot change the world to how he believes is right. ""Now if we had the power To bring our neighbors home from war They would have never missed a Christmas No more ribbons on their door"" This is not saying that he believes the soldiers serving our country are wrong, that they are bad people for fighting in the war. He is saying that he thinks our country would be better off if we weren't fighting, that if he were ruler of the world, he would stop the fighting. ccie dumps But he is, in fact, not the ruler of the world, so what can he do? He can vote, he can go to protests, he can write to congress people. But what impact is he, one person, on the entire country? ccda exams Mayer is an average person'. It is true that people like Martin Luther King Jr. single-handedly changed the world, but he is not every average person. Not everyone has the traits necessary to make an impact like he did.
Couldn't help but get emotional watching this video. Thank you for taking a beautiful song and making it even more poignant with the wonderful expressiveness of sign. A truly moving experience.
